USMC & FDNY 9/11 MEMORIAL

This memorial is dedicated to the 17 Firefighter Marines who lost their lives on September 11, 2001. It was truly an honor for me to be a part of this memorial. I designed and provided art direction for these custom emblems for the United States Marine Corps together with the New York City Fire Dept.. These 1/4" thick Stainless Steel emblems were cut out on a state of the art water jet machine as well hand etched and painted. The emblems were then welded to the last two pieces of steel from Ground Zero.
